PONTIAC – Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson has extended his deadline to raise $800,000 to launch a legislative initiative to repeal the SBT to February 28.
The Small Business Association of Michigan Advocate reported that Patterson has already raised $350,000 with another $100,000 in verbal commitments.
The SBT is currently scheduled to be repealed on December 31, 2009. This proposal would move up the date to October 1, 2007.
