OXFORD ? Supply chain management technology provider Osiris Innovations Group said its strategic alliance with Datastream Systems, an electronic catalog services company, could double revenue this year from $6 million to $12 million.
The alliance provides Osiris customers the option to access Datastream’s eProcurement software product, Datastream 7i Buy, which automates and streamlines the purchasing process. What?s more, the alliance creates a comprehensive set of supply chain management services to include electronic catalogs, purchasing, financial settlement, and access to a central supply chain portal.
Although the announcement on the alliance was made just last week, the partnership has been developing over the past year, said Bob Poloskey, Osiris Chief Operating Officer.
?One of our mutual accounts, Office Depot, we did a launch in the third quarter of last year,?? Poloskey said. ?We provided them with a procurement program for a Tier 1 program. Further, we provided support and enhanced distribution through their diversity process. We built the Office Depot catalogue and supplier network behind it.?
Osiris bested industry leader Ariba in the Office Depot win. Ariba posted $81 million in revenues in the second quarter of 2005.
Poloskey said Osiris? revenues in 2004 were just over $6 million. He?s projected this year revenues to come in from $10 million to $12 million . To handle this expansion, Osiris will be expanding its 12-person staff by adding some high profile team members, including a Chief Technology Officer, a Business Relations Manager and a Vice President of Business Development.
