ANN ARBOR – The New Enterprise Forum will celebrate its 20 year history of giving entrepreneurs in Michigan a soapbox to pitch potential investors with a birthday bash on night at the posh Michigan League.

The event starts at 5 pm and will include tributes from local entrepreneurial stars and NEF founders. The group will award its 2005 NEF Entrepreneur of the Year and name the three best business presentations from last year. Admission is $35.

This birthday celebration is one of the monthly meetings the group has been sponsoring every third Thursday for the past twenty years. NEF is proud of its forum for showcase presentations and featured speakers that help connect businesses with resources to accelerate their development. Over two decades, the organization has hosted more than 500 speakers and presenters at its monthly meetings.

The main sponsors of this year?s event are Dykema and the Samuel Zell & Robert Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.
