WEST BLOOMFIELD ? The Michigan Council of Women in Technology is hosting an evening of desserts, music and massage on Jan. 12 in what?s billed as a fun-filled caf� style evening of activities and discussion exploring women and technology. But you also could call it subtle recruiting.
The venue for this power networking forum is sports bar Champps Americana in West Bloomfield. It starts at 6 pm and is scheduled to run through 9:30 pm. Some 75 women are expected to attend.
?It?s a great way to learn about MCWT and for our members to share success stories,?? said MCWT spokesman Mark Gilman. ?We?ve been seriously looking for ways to get these women together in an informal setting. We hope to do this several times this year.?
The cost is $10 for members and $20 for guests.
