SOUTHFIELD – Gifford Pinchot, who coined the word Intrapreneur, will deliver two guest lectures as the guest of Lawrence Technological University’s Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization.
The Harvard-trained Pinchot heads Pinchot & Company, a firm that helps companies reduce bureaucratic obstacles and implement more effective business practices.
Pinchot also wrote the book, “Intrapreneuring: You Don’t Have To Leave The Corporation To Become An Entrepreneur.” His lecture series on March 30 will cover two topics: The Intrapreneurial Way: Firing Up the Dreamers that Do, and The Intelligent Organization.
The lectures will be given at 2 p.m., T429, Lear Auditorium, University Technology and Learning Center and at 5:45 p.m., S100, Science Building Auditorium. The program is free to the public.
