TROY ? The Southeast Michigan Entrepreneurial Initiative will host its second program Aug. 24 to showcase Chris Hopkins, CEO of GRID4 Communications, one of the country?s fastest growing competitive local exchange carriers.
The event takes place from 8-11 a.m. at the Automation Alley Tech Center, 2675 Bellingham in Troy. It is sponsored by Automation Alley and the Oakland County Business Roundtable. The Entrepreneurial Initiative is a series of programs aimed at aspiring and established technology entrepreneurs throughout Southeast Michigan. The program works to highlight entrepreneurs and their businesses and further develop their message to reach customers and investors.
In addition to the keynote, three emerging businesses will present their business plans and receive feedback from venture capitalists, bankers, angel investors and others with experience in assisting entrepreneurial businesses.
