BLOOMFIELD HILLS – An injury to the founder of Entrepreneur & Investor Exchange has forced the group to cancel its monthly networking and pitch meetings until September.
Founder Fritz Spademan fell twice and broke several bones, which he said in a message to his members “will take some time to heal.” Spademan went on to say: “Business obligations make it impossible for Bruce Brogan and Chuck Townsend to carry the E&I Exchange workload by themselves.”
In the interim, Brogan and Townsend will turn to strengthening the fund-raising activities of the Money Finders.
“Entrepreneurs are asking for our help, and of the two organizations the Money Finders is the one that directly targets the capital needs of new business ventures and thus demands our attention,” Spademan said. “We regret the resulting gap in our E&I Exchange forums, and we hope you will wish to resume attending our fall schedule of networking and investment opportunity presentations.”
E&I Exchange had scheduled its next meeting for Feb. 14. Now the next scheduled meeting is Sept. 13.
