ANN ARBOR ? Early registration for the 2005 Michigan Growth Capital Symposium (MGCS) will end May 1 at midnight. Those registering before May 1 will receive a discounted attendance fee of $395 at this year?s 24th annual symposium, a $100 savings.

Between May 2 and June 13, the cost is $495 for the first registrant from each firm and $395 for each additional registrant. All attendees after June 13 can register onsite for $600.

The 2005 MGCS conference will showcase 32 carefully screened companies ready for venture investment. The companies represent the best deals in the Midwest in information technology, life sciences and alternative energy.

Attendees to the conference will hear from keynote speakers David M. Rubenstein, founding partner and managing director of The Carlyle Group, and Timothy C. Draper, founder and managing director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
