ROYAL OAK – If you have old cell phones, pagers, PDA’s and digital cameras you no longer use than Detroit Entrepreneurship Institue wants to talk with you. DEI will recycle your tech toys and help entrepreneurs and provide economic literacy training to individuals in Southeast Michigan with limited resources.

For each cell phone, pager, PDA or digital camera collected, DEI will receive a monetary donation. All makes and models, regardless of working condition will be accepted. Phones must be deactivated before they are donated.

The recycling program benefits DEI and Recylcing For Charities, two non-profit organizations.

?This partnership not only benefits the Detroit Entrepreneurship Institute but it helps keep the environment clean as well which is RFC?s main goal. We are proud to be working to support such a worthy cause,? Said Dwight Zahringer, co-founder of Recycling for Charities.

DEI has served over 6,500 clients and has helped to establish or expand 775 business ventures since it was founded in 1990. RFC donates half of what they receive on the recycled electronic gadgets and gives the other half to the foundation or cause selected. All RFC donations are tax-deductible.

Donations can be dropped off at the DEI, 1010 Antietam, Detroit, or you can donate anytime online at RecyclingForCharities.Com
