DETROIT ? Dickinson Wright has recruited three more intellectual property attorneys from Howard & Howard, plus one from Reising, Ethington, Barnes and Kissel, to join its rapidly growing IP team.
Joining Dickinson Wright are Jon Shackelford, John Seurynck, Raymond Meiers, and John Wright. In the last five weeks, Dickinson Wright has expanded its Intellectual Property practice by nine attorneys, including the addition of Hal Milton who will head up the firm’s new Intellectual Property Academy to train engineers and scientists to become patent attorneys.

With these four registered patent attorneys joining the firm, Dickinson Wright now has more than 25 attorneys principally engaged in an intellectual property practice, including a Member with a Ph.D. in pharmacology and a patent agent with a Ph.D. in biochemistry. Nine of the Firm’s intellectual property attorneys also have in-house legal experience, thus providing additional client perspective to the timely delivery of exceptional legal services in the areas of patent, trademark, copyright and licensing.
