The event, scheduled for June 15-16 in Ann Arbor, is an excellent way for Midwestern companies that are developing and commercializing cutting edge technologies and have the potential to create superior shareholder value to attract investors. The MGCS also attracts the most influential opinion-leaders in the Midwest’s life science and technology industries, including accounting firms, law firms, banks and executive recruiters.

The Selection Committee will pick the 32 presenting companies on the basis of their:

target customers

how well the company’s products and services address the target market

competitive advantage

management team

potential growth rate and size

financial model including the company’s stage and the amount of capital raised

opportunity to create superior shareholder value.

If your company is chosen your management team will receive pre-conference presentation coaching from a panel of local venture capitalists along with a 10 minute presentation slot at the MGCS. The 32 presenting companies are also invited to exhibit at the MGCS. The conference’s format includes extensive networking time, which is conducted in and near the exhibits area.
