SOUTHFIELD – Airfoil Public Relations, which earlier this year promised it would open a Silicon Valley office, said the doors swig wide on its new Bay Area office June 15. Airfoil specializes in representing technology companies, including Microsoft and eBay.

Airfoil co founder and President Janet Tyler will lead the West Coast team as general manager, while retaining her duties as operational head of the rapidly growing regional PR firm. The other co founder is Lisa Vallee-Smith, who serves as chairman and spiritual leader of the firm.

“Establishing a Silicon Valley presence was a natural decision for us,

with our roots in technology,” she said. “Our clients’ interests span the

country and as such, in order for us to best service them, we need to as

well.

“Our fastest-growing practice area is consumer, which has been

bolstered by programs for eBay, Starbucks and American Laser Centers among

others,” Tyler said.

Airfoil’s new office, located at 203 Redwood Shores Parkway, in the

Towers at Shores Center in Redwood City, Calif., is scheduled to open June 15. In an earlier story published by MItechnews.Com, Airfoil said the office would open in April.
