DETROIT – Terence Adderley, Chairman of Kelly Services, and Cynthia Pasky, CEO of Strategic Staffing Solutions, were two winners named Friday night at the Ninth Annual Automation Alley Awards Gala, held this year at the Roostertail in downtown Detroit.

Adderley was selected as Legend CEO (Lifetime Achievement Award) for his dedication to leading one of the world’s largest and most successful staffing companies.

Pasky, named CEO of the Year, has led Strategic Staffing Solutions since she founded it 19 years ago. The company has expanded to more than 1,700 employees in more than 20 cities in the United States and Europe with revenues topping $160 million last year.

“Tonight’s winners exemplify the true entrepreneurial and leadership spirit of Southeast Michigan,” said Ken Rogers, executive director. “Each has taken momentous steps in advancing our region forward and Automation Alley is proud to recognize and honor these individuals for their continuous efforts in ensuring that Southeast Michigan is a top notch location to establish and nurture a business.”

Emerging Leader of the Year: Bill Wagner, vice president and co-founder of SRT Solutions (Ann Arbor)

Automation Alley Member of the Year: Hennessey Capital (Huntington Woods)

Technology Company of the Year: Grid4 Communications (Troy)

Emerging Technology Company of the Year: my1HIE LLC (Bingham Farms)

Educational Program of the Year: Michigan Virtual University (Lansing)

Non-Profit of the Year: Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce

Winners were chosen based on submitted nomination packages that are reviewed and evaluated by a pre-selected committee.
