LANSING – David Wasserman, House Editor for the Cook Political Report, is the keynote speaker on June 23 at the Small Business Association of Michigan annual meet at the Lansing Center. Wasserman will share his insights into the 2016 presidential election and the impact on the small business community.

Wasserman has appeared on the NBC Nightly News, ABC World News, C-SPAN Washington Journal, CNN and NPR. He is a frequent contributor to FiveThirtyEight.com and his commentary on House races has been cited in numerous print and online publications including Politico, The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and RealClearPolitics.com.

The annual meeting will include recognition of the 2016 Small Business Legislator of the Year and Small Business Advocate of the Year; and introductions of the 2016-2017 SBAM Officers and Board members.
