DETROIT – The Michigan Council of Women in Technology announced a very full schedule of events for the remainder of 2025, including zoom meetups, technology summer camps for young people, golf outings and much more. Kathleen Norton-Schock provides all the details in this video interview.

For starters, a zoom-delivered quarterly membership meeting is scheduled for April 9, she said. For women and men interested in learning about what MCWT does, it’s a great way to learn more about the organization and what it offers, including college scholarships for young women.

On May 15, a wine tasting event is scheduled for Little Caesars World Headquarters in Detroit.

Then a series of technology summer camps kicks off June 16, called Camp Infinity 2025. The first one is hosted by Anchor Bay High School in Fair Haven. Then six more Camp Infinities are offered around the state through the end of July.

Speaking of July, on July 21 MCWT is hosting the 19th annual Southeast Michigan Golf Classic at Indian Hills Golf & Country Club in Lake Orion. It’s one of the biggest fund raisers of the year, helping to fund those scholarships for women.
