DETROIT – Cyberpatriot is a national program that teaches grade-school students not only how to safely navigate the internet, but also provides them with the basic training they can use to launch cybersecurity careers.

In Michigan, the program was started about a decade ago by Tamara Shoemaker. She joins Matt Roush and Mike Brennan in this video interview to provide details on the program and also ask the cybersecurity and business community to help support the program with mentors and sponsorship dollars.
