ANN ARBOR – Join Maker Works for Fix-It Friday, where
members of our community bring in their damaged or broken items and fixers
examine and try to repair them.
Maker Works had a spectacular turnout at the past few Fix-It
Fridays, and the event has gained more attention. If you enjoy taking things
apart and tinkering, you may enjoy volunteering at Fix-It Friday. And Maker
Works could really use your help!
Stop by the shop between 4pm and 6pm the third Friday of the
month, and experience the array of unique items that come through our doors. As
a volunteer, you’ll get to talk with folks about what they’ve brought, identify
what the issues are, and, if possible, implement creative solutions.
No sign up needed; just come on in and let a staff member
know you’re here to help.
