DETROIT – Techstars Mobility has announced their next class of tech startups aiming to disrupt the transportation space.

Last year’s class included companies like SPLT who have expanded regionally and nationally, bringing ride sharing to corporations through their technology platform.

The twelve startups in this year’s class will work intensively over the three-month program at Ford Field in Downtown Detroit, receiving mentorship, office space and $120,000 in funding.

“Techstars and Ford Motor Company are working to support smart, ambitious entrepreneurs who are developing innovative solutions for mobility issues,” said Ken Washington, Ford vice president, Research and Advanced Engineering. “Startups are bringing new energy and creative thinking to the fore, and we are pleased to introduce these new ideas to Detroit and the auto industry.”
