DETROIT – David Brophy, PhD, who has been teaching finance at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business since the 1980s, was named the Above and Beyond Award Winner by the Michigan Venture Capital Association. In this video, Brophy, the founder of the Michigan Growth Capital Symposium, which each May attracts hundreds of Venture Capitalists to listen to dozen of startups, most from Michigan, pitch them to finance their dreams, talks about what the award means to him.
