SOUTHFIELD — Secure-24 – formally, Secure-24 Intermediate Holdings Inc. – will soon be purchased by a $94.2 billion Japanese telecommunications giant.
The buyer of Secure-24, a provider of a wide range of managed IT services, is NTT Communications Corp., the communications division of Tokyo-based NTT Group, the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. NTT is the world’s fourth largest telephone operating company.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Secure-24 has enjoyed sharp growth since its founding in 2001, managing applications for clients, including SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Hyperion for companies in many industry sectors.
The company established an in-house training academy that builds engineers from a mid-to-long-term perspective. In addition to more than over 100 industry and partner awards and acknowledgements, Secure-24 has been named one of Computerworld’s 100 Best Places to Work in IT for five consecutive years.
