TROY – Automation Alley Wednesday launched 7Cs Second Stage, an extension of Automation Alley’s exclusive entrepreneurship program, created to accelerate the growth of Southeast Michigan’s small businesses and startups – with a specific focus on advanced manufacturing.
7Cs Second Stage will be eligible to any technology or manufacturing-based company from five to 100 employees in need of team building and sales training.
“The success of our 7Cs™ program for startup companies led us to ask why we could not offer such a compelling package to our Second Stage companies, who wrestle with the same issues but on a larger and more immediate scale,” said Tom Kelly, Automation Alley COO. “7Cs™ Second Stage is the answer.”
7Cs Second Stage companies will receive four deliverables over the course of one year, including organizational effectiveness consulting from icube, Sandler Sales Training, a professionally-produced sales video, and Automation Alley membership.
7Cs Second Stage individual services are listed for more than $26,000, but are available at the discounted bundle rate of $19,950. Participants are able to secure low interest loans from the Automation Alley Technology Investment Fund (made possible through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation) to fully defray upfront costs associated with the program. Automation Alley plans to support 10 to 12 companies per year on a rolling admissions basis.
To apply, companies must be profitable, earn less than $20 million in revenue and be in good standing with the state of Michigan.
Applications can be found at http://www.automationalley.com/7cs-application.aspx, or call Automation Alley’s Entrepreneurial Administrator Dom Holmes at (248) 457-3231.
