“The timing of our expansion into New York is especially meaningful, given that this week marks the fifteenth  anniversary of 9/11,” said Patrick L. Anderson, the firm’s founder and CEO. “Two of us survived that tragedy at the World Trade Center, and both were moved by the heroism of New York firefighters that helped save our lives.

“I didn’t plan that day to build a business that extended across the country–I was too busy praying to live another day,” said Anderson, “but I am profoundly grateful for the chance to be back in New York this week, opening an office and hiring New Yorkers.”

Ilhan Geckil leads the Strategy and Business Valuation division of Anderson Economic Group. He will direct the New York office. Geckil specializes in the Alcoholic Beverage and Automotive industries. Previously, he wrote for the Office of Former President Bill Clinton and for New York City’s bid for the Olympic Games. His is co-author of Baseball as a Road to God: Seeing Beyond the Game, a New York Times bestselling non-fiction book.
