ROYAL OAK – Tember Shea, Director of Inforum’s InGAGE program, interviews Katie Bigelow, Founder, MettleOps, which recently secured a $9.1 Million contract with TARDEC to increase soldier survivability.

Mettle Ops is a state and federal contracting entity of the larger Bigelow Family Holdings LLC.  It is located in Sterling Heights where its team converges from all over the Detroit Metro Area.  Mettle Ops provides program management, engineering services, risk management, business development, aviation, safety, document digitization and archiving, statistical analysis and reporting, and document formatting for public interactive use via the web.

President Katie Bigelow is a service-disabled veteran with more than ten year’s military service, four overseas tours, and two years serving in Iraq.  Katie started her original business concern in 2007 after completing her Army service.  In the past seven years, it has evolved into two subsidiaries of Bigelow Family Holdings, LLC with Mettle Ops being the newest endeavor.
