MADISON HEIGHTS – Capture the Flag, a computer security game in which you try to penetrate a number of target systems, will be the activity Feb. 16 when the Motor City Chapter of ISSA has its next membership meeting at Computer Data.

Justin Peltier of Peltier Associates and Maximiliano Caceres, Director of CORE IMPACT Product Management will moderate the session. This session is not a substitute for a class on ethical hacking, but it is an excellent opportunity to learn in a moderated and fun environment.

Capture the Flag lets you practice and learn, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and ethical hacking skills. Many prizes will be given away including the top prize – a copy of the Core

Impact product. Enrollment is limited.

In his role at Core Security Technologies, Caceres is responsible for CORE

IMPACT’s product development including technology research, product management and product marketing. Caceres is an industry veteran with more than eight years of experience in the information security market. In addition to his expertise in product management, Caceres also has deep experience in

designing software to meet evolving market demands.

Peltier is a Senior Security Consultant with Peltier Associates with more than ten years of experience in firewall and security technologies. As a consultant, Mr. Peltier has been involved implementing, supporting, and developing security solutions, and has taught courses on many facets

including vulnerability assessment and CISSP preparation.
