GRAND RAPIDS ? In a rambling, often disjointed, but thoroughly entertaining presentation by Fox News Military Analyst Col. David Hunt at the Great Lakes Homeland Security Training Conference and Expo said other communities should simulate the “warzone” experience of Boston to prepare for terrorist attacks.

Hunt said the terrorist attack during the Boston Marathon last month served as an incredible training opportunity for first responders and health-care professionals. He said other communities should create similar warzone scenarios by strewing dead animals in the streets to simulate Boston.

?First responders need to smell rotting flesh,? he said.

Hunt said he fears other copy-cat bombings could spring up in the wake of the Boston bombing. But the decade-long wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have produced a phenomenally well-trained U.S. military that is more capable than any other country in the world to deal with urban terrorism, like that experienced by Boston.

He also fears Israel will soon launch a full-scale air assault on Iran?s 42 nuclear-energy related facilities, including 19 bunkers built into mountains that would require nuclear-weapon bunker busting bombs to break.

?That will trigger a third war in the Middle East,? Hunt predicted.

He also said Al-Qaeda, the Arab fundamentalist terrorist group, has become very active in Africa where only a couple of governments are stable enough to keep them at bay.

Plus he said China abides by the crazy and militaristic North Korea because it uses the Stalinist country to export weapons and ?other nasty things.?
