DETROIT – We are all in this together and we pray you are all safe and healthy. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our Michigan Cyberpatriot program.

Many of you have emailed or phoned asking whether or not we will be proceeding with our Summer Camps planned for July 20-24th and August 3-7th. I just received an email from the AFA Nation CyberPatriot folks and so far they are planning on hosting the Summer Camps. They are working out the technical issues for game-day should we need to run these camps virtually.

Whether or not we host these Summer Camps in person or virtually, I still need all the information that I requested to set-up your registration if you still plan to host a camp. It is also not too late to host a summer camp, feel free to reach-out and we will give you all the information you’ll need. Lord knows, our students will be hungry for fun learning activities by July and August!

Right now I have the following camp sites: DTE-Detroit, GE Digital-Belleville, ANG-Battle Creek(2), Northern Michigan College-Traverse City, Macomb ISD, Oakland Tech Centers (Wixom, Royal Oak and Bloomfield??) WMCAT-Grand Rapids, Washtenaw CC-Ann Arbor, Northern Michigan University-Marquette and Potsdam, NY

Our goal is to reach as many Michigan students as we can with the positive message of a rewarding and prosperous future with a career in Cybersecurity and other STEM areas. Camp hosts, coaches, mentors, volunteers, and sponsors are all welcome to join us on this amazing adventure! www.micyberpatriot.com Registrations will open the minute I have all the the locations information.
