PLYMOUTH - Tim Mayleben, the CFO of the original drug developer Esperion, has rejoined Esperion Therapeutics as president and CEO. Mayleben was a partner in Esperion when it was purchased in February 2004 by Pfizer for $1.3 billion. Roger Newton, who is the founder of Esperion, bought the company back from Pfizer several years ago.
