BRIGHTON – EV Charging POD has been developing stationary Natural Gas and Propane powered charging stations that allow Electric Vehicle owners to charge their EVs without plugging into the electrical grid. Now founder Steve Bratic has introduced a truck-mounted mobile charging platform that can fast-charge more than 20 EVs at a time.
He also sells stationary charging systems that typically are grid tied or natural gas based for all levels of project charging sizes— from level 2, which takes about 4-8 hours for a 0 to 100 percent charge, up to level 3, which takes about 20-45 minutes 0 to 80 percent charge with chargers up to 480 kilowatts coming in Q1 of 2024.
Basic containers from an EV Charging POD provide 35 kilowatts of charge, while the biggest container can handle 10 megawatts of prime power electricity with scalability and flexibility of any size.
