ANN ARBOR — The San Diego battery industry consultant PlugVolt LLC will hold its 2017 Battery Seminar in July in Ann Arbor. The event will feature experts from automotive and grid power storage manufacturers, industry suppliers, and battery manufacturers.

The first day of the event will focus on electrochemistry, with presentations on the latest advances in energy technology, battery recycling and more.

On July 19, the event will focus on the use of batteries in the automotive energy, with presentations from General Motors, Ford, the University of Michigan, Hyundai, Honda, Johnson Controls, Bosch, Valeo, AVL, and A123 Systems.

The final day of the conference, July 20, will focus on grid applications, with presentations from Lux Research, Consolidated Edison, San Diego Gas & Electric Co., Duke Energy, LG Chem, and others.
