MIDLAND – Expand your networks at the second annual MidMichigan Innovators: Heading for the Big Leagues entrepreneurial networking and awards event May 27 at the Dow Diamond in Midland. Tickets are on sale now.
General admission tickets are $50 for networking, exhibits and awards program and include drink and food tickets, or $100 for both a pre-event, 5-6 p.m. VIP reception and the evening program.

For the event, the concourse at Dow Diamond will be transformed into a technology and innovation showcase for promising and successful companies from around the mid-Michigan region. This sell-out annual event includes nearly 40 exhibitors displaying and demonstrating their innovative products and services before an expected crowd of 350 plus potential investors and key business, community, and political leaders.

NEW THIS YEAR: Ted Doan Spirit of Innovation Award ? Created by MidMichigan Innovation Center and presented by Dwight Carlson and Junia Doan, the Ted Doan Spirit of Innovation Award showcases outstanding innovators in the region. The award honors Herbert D. ?Ted? Doan, former President & CEO of The Dow Chemical Company, a thought-leader in Michigan?s venture capital industry, and one of the visionary founders of MidMichigan Innovation Center. The winner will be recognized as this year?s best example of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region and someone who displays the qualities exemplified by Ted Doan: Vision, Integrity, Character, and Generosity.
MidMichigan Innovator Awards ? Awards to recognize of individuals for their innovation and leadership which has significantly enhanced the entrepreneurial environment in Michigan.
