DETROIT – Strategic Staffing Solutions, the Detroit-based global information technology services company, reported Wednesday earning $160 million in revenue for 2008, marking its 19th consecutive year of growth. The company did not provide any profit figures.
“Our results for 2008 are particularly gratifying and noteworthy in view of what happened to the U.S. and world economies,” said Cynthia J. Pasky, S3 president and CEO. “We believe the results are very graphic proof of the fact that we know our customers, we customize our solutions and we over-deliver every time.”
More than a third of S3??s 25 international branch locations grossed more than $10 million each. The Charlotte and Detroit locations produced the most revenue, bringing in more than $20 million each.
“S3 is profitable and growing because we invest in our employees?? success,” Pasky said. “We are a fairly flat organization and our executive staff is here as a resource to our team members to help them build strong and lasting relationships with customers.”
S3 services a variety of industries with the financial services sector accounting for nearly 50 percent of the company??s annual revenue in 2008. The energy and retail and distribution industries are also high grossing customers.
S3 operates 25 branches: Team Detroit (Detroit and Troy), Atlanta, Boston, Team California (Los Angeles and San Francisco), Charlotte, Chicago, Columbia, SC, Columbus, Dallas, Team Florida (Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa), Houston, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Richmond, San Antonio, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tampa, Team Texas (Dallas, Houston and San Antonio), Tallahassee and two European offices; Vilnius, Lithuania and London, England.
