WEST BLOOMFIELD ? Ho, ho, no, Captain Moustache, the metro Detroit web-applications company that gave Apple products users the Simple Fruit Bowl and Simple Pumpkin Face apps, now has rolled out the Simple Christmas app. These apps work on iPhones, iPads and iPods.
Simple Christmas allows users to create unlimited configurations of trees and wreaths using festive decorations and backgrounds to spread holiday cheer. Simple Christmas app also is designed to allow users to create Christmas themed images to share with family and friends over e-mail or Facebook.
Captain Moustache co-founder Roy Krauthamer, an Internet marketing executive, said he developed Simple Christmas to bring yuletide greetings at an affordable price. You can download the apps for just 99 cents at the iTunes store.
?I worked in retail for years during the holiday season and realize that the shopping expenses can become exorbitant. Simple Christmas app is not only fun for people to make ? it can offset the cost of cards or even be given as a gift to a friend,? Krauthamer said.
