KALAMAZOO ? Rep. Fred Upton will keynote the Fourth Annual Western Michigan University HCoB IT Forum on March 25. This year?s theme is Facilitating Information Security, Reliability and Compliance.
The Anderson-Enron lesson was a painful reminder of the need for information reliability and corporate accountability. Information security and privacy remains a major concern of Internet users. Many profit and non-profit organizations have invested a great deal of money in information security and compliance. The forum provides an excellent opportunity to strategically and practically deal with Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPPA, and Hackers.
Featured keynote speakers include Congressman Upton (Chairman of the Subcommittee on Telecommunications & the Internet), Sebastian Holst (President of the Compliance Consortium) and Robert Du Charme (CISCO CIAG Manager). A specially arranged theme-driven Discussion Panel will be held after the keynote presentations.
