KALAMAZOO ? Real life uses of RFID technology will be examined Feb. 22 when the RFID Users Group meets at the Blue-Granite Building in Western?s Business Technology and Research Park.
Barry Brown, director of RFID, and Bill Sharp, systems integration manager, both with The Argent Group will discuss Real RFID Applications in Real Situations. The meeting is scheduled for Feb. 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
RFID Technology Center Interim President Bill Stein said the Argent professionals will talk about a solution they implemented at American Axel in Three Rivers.
Stein said the RFID Users Group, which meets monthly, draws more than 40 people to each meeting.
?The group is made up of small business owners, representatives from large businesses, technical people like myself, and people like Argent that know about hardware,?? he said. ?Our users group allows us to network everyone with people with different specialties to see what new uses of RFID technology we can create.?
