LANSING – President Barack Obama will be in Holland on August 11 to visit the Johnson Controls Incorporated advanced battery facility, the White House announced Thursday.

The goal of the tour, officials said, is to highlight the technology that could allow automobile manufacturers to meet new fuel economy standards.

Obama will also focus on the jobs to be created through the advanced battery industry.
