AUBURN HILLS ? Brian Gillespie has been promoted from Business Development Manager to Director of Sales at demand manufacturing software provider, Plexus Online. He is responsible for continuing the growth of North American sales.

Gillespie and Plexus Systems’ growing sales team will pursue new

business among manufacturers in the medical device, aerospace and defense

industries, while continuing to maintain its base market, automotive

manufacturing.

“Brian Gillespie’s deep manufacturing domain expertise and outstanding

client diagnostic skills will help Plexus continue to grow its customer

base,” said Thomas Mackey, executive vice president of Sales for Plexus.

“He brings well-rounded experience helping Plexus Systems’ customers find

the right fit for improving the manufacturing performance of a single

facility or an entire enterprise with Plexus Online.”

Gillespie has extensive experience in instructing and installing

automated solutions. In the nineties, he launched his career as an

industrial electrician for FANUC Robotics in Rochester Hills. After

mastering the installation of products, he became a course developer and

technical instructor on a range of high tech and basic skill topics. During

most of his career at FANUC Robotics, he was the District Manager

maintaining new and existing accounts for complete automated solutions.

Gillespie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from

Central Michigan University.
