DETROIT – For the first time in the awards history, OnStar President Chet Huber and Ford SYNC Chief Architect Joseph Berry shared the Telematics Leadership Award announced this week during the Telematics Detroit 2009 Conference & Exhibition at the Rock Financial Showcase.

Ford also won two other Telematics Update Awards:

Car Manufacturer Innovation Award, and Industry Newcomer Award for the SYNC. The entries were judged by a selection of independent consultants and industry experts, and a shortlist of the finalists in each category was announced last month.
