ANN ARBOR – The Michigan Women’s Marketplace is Michigan’s online resource for women business owners and those supporting woman-owned businesses. By providing a comprehensive Women’s Business Directory, statewide Events Calendar, a list of business resources, and an online Training Center, the Michigan Women’s Marketplace believes that women business owners, women business organizations, and corporations will benefit from increased online exposure.
As a joint initiative of women’s business organizations throughout the state, the Michigan Women’s Marketplace is designed to be an online women’s business community. Such a community can be a catalyst in generating business to business opportunities, strategic alliances, informal mentoring relationships, and discussion of issues common to all women business owners.
The Michigan Women’s Marketplace strives to create this community and increase business activity by:
* Developing the most comprehensive list of Michigan women business owners
* Promoting events sponsored by women business organization partners
* Exposing women business owners to the variety of services provided by the women business organization partners, and

* Hosting an online Training Center equipped with interactive message boards, poLls, and expert articles written by prominent women business owners
