LANSING ? Michigan Republicans have won a smashing, historic victory in the Senate Tuesday night with Senate Majority Leader Mike Bishop declaring his party had won 26 seats for a two-thirds supermajority.
Patrick Colbeck has won a huge victory in the 7th District for the GOP to keep a seat and Rep. Dave Hildenbrand of Lowell staved of a furious challenge from Democrat David LaGrand of Grand Rapids in the 29th District.
