GRAND RAPIDS Marketing and communications company Marcom Solutions has recruited some of the whos who of West Michigan communications to head up its inaugurial board of directors.

Marcom’s new board includes:

David Ellyatt – Manager of Web Marketing, Quixtar

Don Hunt – Principal, Lambert, Edwards & Associates

Jef Fite – Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, Family Christian Stores

Joseph Chang – Vice President of Operations, StelterPartners

Ellyatt and Hunt were founding members of glimaWest in Grand Rapids.

The foursome will help Marcom spread the word about its first software product, NetGain, which streamlines the development of communications materials across an organization, from presentations to collateral to product documentation and manuals.

Ellyatt oversees the juncture of Quixtar’s business offerings, blending content and technology to create the best possible user experience. Quixtar is one of the largest e-Commerce vehicles in the world with annual revenues over $1 billion.

Hunt is a partner at Lambert, Edwards & Associates, a public and investor relations firm, where he works a wide range of regional and national companies in industries ranging from technology to healthcare.

Fite is responsible for all systems and technology for Family Christian Stores’ Internet business channel, and recently led the project team responsible for fielding the new Ideal Store concept.

Chang while with Steelcase managed multiple launches for some of the largest initiatives in company history. Currently, Chang oversees all aspects of the back end operations and development for Steelcase and Alticor, Amways parent company.
