CLINTON TOWNSHIP ? Logicorps, on Tuesday announced it has closed a management buyout of the IT services provider, putting Scott Wiederhold, former Chief Operating Officer, in sole control of the company.
As part of the reorganization, Ian Gray has been named as new Vice President of Operations and COO.
Since 1999, Logicorps has been under the dual ownership of Wiederhold and Mark Blaszak, the former CEO. Blaszak now will pursue other business opportunities.
The change of ownership and management structure allows Logicorps to continue its rapid growth, expand marketing efforts, realize new service potential, and increase its market share.
?We begin our ninth year in business with an important step in continuing our growth,? said Wiederhold, who began the firm as one of two employees. Logicorps today employs over 30 seasoned technology professionals, sales, marketing, and support staff. Wiederhold continued, ?We are broadening management opportunities for employees by creating a structure more typical of a services firm. Clients can expect no change in the high level of service they already receive from Logicorps.?
Gray, who has been with Logicorps since 2003, assumes his new role in the organization immediately where he will focus on developing Logicorps? business expansion plans and building relationships with clients.
?The management buyout and subsequent personnel changes will enable Logicorps to build on its current business model and continue to add to its repertoire of distinct technology business solutions,? Wiederhold said. ?Logicorps is poised for significant growth and this reorganization gives it fresh momentum to gain and service new clients.?
