LANSING – LINC, a Lansing IT association, has joined forces with Lancing Community College this holiday season to offer three scholarships for students interested in technology. The application deadline is December 17.
This is the first time that LINC and L.C.C. have offered scholarships to members of the community in efforts to increase education of technology and the IT industry in Mid-Michigan.
LINC’s Scholarship Committee will be awarding up to three part time or full time scholarships, which consist of six – 16 credits each, for a duration of four semesters. The scholarships may be used for the Spring 2008 semester. Selected students must use the scholarships to enroll in the Business, Media, and Information Technologies Division at Lansing Community College and maintain a 2.8 grade point average.
Those applicable for the award must be employed by a business that is currently a member of LINC. The deadline for the application is Monday, December 17th.
