SOUTHFIELD Lawrence Technological University is holding an open house on July 27 to detail a revamped masters degree program that now can train professionals in project management, manufacturing and service operations.
Lawrence Techs Master of Science in Operations Management has replaced the Master of Science in Industrial Operations program. This program is designed to enhance the management skills of working professionals in such fields as manufacturing, health care, technology services, retail sales, nonprofit management, and government service.
The program remains relevant to the manufacturing industry and becomes responsive to the growing needs of the service sector that comprises approximately 70 percent of businesses, said Lou DeGennaro, dean of the College of Management at Lawrence Tech. This change ensures that our programs remain relevant and cutting edge for our students and their employers.
Those interested in this innovative degree program, can learn more at a special open house July 27, from 6-7:30 p.m., at Lawrence Tech in Southfield. To RSVP for the open house, please call 248-204-3160, or email [email protected].
