GRAND RAPIDS ? The Iserv Technology Group has made its first acquisition outside Michigan with the purchase of Chicago-based ISP Caliber Connections Corp. Terms were not disclosed.
The agreement provides Iserv with Caliber?s current customer base in Chicago and surrounding areas. Caliber Internet Services marks the eleventh ISP acquisition for ITG. The company most recently acquired the customers of Bad Axe?based Top Dog Internet Services in July 2005.

As a result of the acquisition, Caliber customers will become part of the Iserv network.
