GRAND RAPIDS – The Iserv Co., already one of the largest independent Internet Service Providers in Michigan, announced Tuesday it acquired the eastern Michigan customers of 1010internet. Terms and number of customers acquired were not disclosed.
The agreement provides Iserv with 1010internet’s current customer base in Bad Axe, Bay City, Ubly, Standish and the surrounding areas. 1010internet will continue to provide Internet connectivity and web development services to its customers in the Mason, Lake, Manistee and Oceana Counties of West Michigan.

1010internet customers in the thumb area now have access to Iservs Accelerated Dial-Up, Global Webmail, statewide access, iGuard parental controls and other services.
With this acquisition, Iserv has surpassed 50,000 subscribers statewide.
