DETROIT ? Automotive, aerospace and industrial manufacturer software provider INCAT International plc has acquired CAD Potential, a Colorado-based provider of engineering knowledge technology products and services. Terms were not disclosed.
Cadpo has partnered with The Society of Automotive Engineers to develop the SAE Automotive CAD Certification program ? the industry?s only international program that sets the standard for developing and measuring automotive CAD skills globally. The program uses Cadpo?s i.get.it online learning and classroom training.
?The deal is a big one for INCAT,?? said spokesman Daniel Saad. ?It expands our services portfolio, our global presence and increases our work force by about 10 percent.?
In addition, INCAT acquires Cadpo?s consulting-based services Ready5 that deploys a cross-trained team of engineering, manufacturing and PLM experts. Ready5 experts serve more than 500 clients worldwide annually. The Cadpo executive team and staff will continue to operate the company and service clients, operating within the INCAT group.
Founded in 1988, Cadpo operates training centers in Denver, Detroit, and Singapore.
