PITTSBURGH ? GSP Consulting, a federal government contract and lobbying specialist that recently opened an office in Ann Arbor, now has hired Mike Brody to manage its new office in Washington D.C.

GSP?s District office will provide GSP clients with a full time presence in the nation?s capitol, which is important when working within the federal appropriations cycle. Because most of GSP?s work in Washington is cyclical, the firms? consultants have traveled there as needed. With the growth of the company, GSP found it necessary to have a staff member in DC full time.

?Our commitment to our clients remains the same ? we work in the cities where they operate, like Pittsburgh, Ann Arbor, and Cleveland,? said Joe Kuklis, co-founder of GSP Consulting. ?Establishing this office in D.C. will allow us to better serve the needs of our clients that are working with the federal government.?

Brody has been with GSP since 2003 and focuses on the areas of procurement and legislative advocacy. He works closely with clients in the aerospace, defense, medical and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Founded in Pittsburgh in 2001 by Kuklis and John Dick, former senior staff members for U.S. Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, GSP provides a full range of government affairs, economic development and lobbying services.

Since it?s founding in 2001, GSP Consulting has generated more than $330 million from federal, state, and local government sources for 90 plus companies nationwide. With access to thousands of funding programs and an extensive government network, GSP Consulting provides valuable assistance to companies seeking new funding, sales, and research partnerships.
