TROY – Group-41 eBusiness Consultants has agreed to acquire long-time partner NETastic, a Sylvan Lake ISP, in part to keep current business customers from jumping ship and to mine for new ones.
Group-41 took over 105 accounts most in Oakland County – for an undisclosed sum. Group-41 Vice President Phil Rosette said six of those accounts were his marketing clients.
They werent happy with the level of service they were getting from NETastic and threatened to take their business elsewhere, he said. When we acquired the rest of the accounts, we discovered another 40 businesses that make great marketing prospects.
Founder Paul Schmidt also owns VersaTile and said he couldnt run both companies well.
Recently, my other business, VersaTile, has become too demanding to keep doing both effectively, Schmidt said. I chose Group-41 because I know they will provide the professional level service our customers have come to know and expect.
NETastic (NETastic.net) provides local dial-up Internet access, web and email hosting. Group-41 (Group-41.com) provides Internet marketing services such as search engine optimization, pay-per-click management and other web-based services to the Greater Detroit area.
