GRAND RAPIDS – Van Andel Institute will host Foundation Funding Opportunity Day December 9 to help area life science professionals attract grant funding.

Representatives from granting foundations such as the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure will present and discuss what they are looking for when reviewing grant proposals.

?This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who wants to attract grant funding from these organizations,? said VAI Director of Grants and Contracts Carolyn Witt. ?Not only do you get to hear directly from these organizations what they are looking for, but you also get to put your name and face in front of them, which may help you down the road when they are reviewing your grant proposal.?

Guest presenters will include:
