BATTLE CREEK – The Generation E Institute will bring its Student Business Showcase and Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour to Battle Creek May 18. The two events are open to everyone across the state, as an educational and skill enhancement program for children.
Aspiring entrepreneurs and students are invited to attend and learn how they can become entrepreneurs regardless of their career choice or age.
All events are events at the Kellogg Arena, located at 1 McCamly Street in downtown Battle Creek. The Annual Student Business Showcase takes place begins at 10 a.m. However the public is encouraged to attend a special session from Noon to 2 p.m., when they can view displays of student-run businesses and shop for a variety of the students? goods. There will be more than 70 student-run businesses, which will sell products and services ranging from homemade foods, arts, crafts, clothing, music, lawn and household care, books, pet care products, and jewelry. This event is free and open to the public.
As an added bonus for the public, Generation E is proud to host the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour on the same day from 5p.m. to 9p.m. at the Kellogg Arena. The tour is comprised of many of America?s top young entrepreneurs who’ve made, earned, or sold a company for millions before the age of 30.
